Connectivity

Multiple Internet backbones terminated directly in data center. Our data center uses BGP4 on our routers to ensure that your data is sent along the most reliable path and is delivered as fast as possible. If one provider's connection fails, BGP4 allows instant failover and re-routes your critical data over a different path with an alternate provider. Downtime is again minimized.

Network Security

Abtinfo.net utilizes best practices in network security to ensure proactive measures are taken to secure border networks, externally (Internet) accessible services, and internal security between LANs/services. All the servers are protected by Cisco Secure PIX Firewall with failover. An IDS is in place which detect and arrests unauthorized advances.

Vulnerability Scanning & Assessments

As part of our Security Monitoring & Threat Management Service, we conduct regular vulnerability scans of your critical, high-risk information assets to validate your IT environment is hardened against emerging threats. We have the experience, expertise and focus necessary to efficiently conduct vulnerability scans and interpret the results.

Location:

For obvious reasons, we have established our data centre in Pollachi which is about 40 KM away from Coimbatore reachable by Air, Road and Rail medium. The location is such it is safe from Natural disasters such as Cyclones, floods and tornadoes

Air Conditioning

Equipment performance and life span can be significantly improved by housing the system under optimum environmental conditions. Our Data center is well equipped with N+1 redundant air conditioning system. There are Independent Air Handling Units with a Standby. The Temperature is maintained at + /- 2 degrees over the set temperature of 20 degrees. Dehumidifiers ensure that the humidity levels are maintained at less than 55%.The Data center is also equipped with THERMAX MOH42/44 ( “Best in class” eco-friendly vapour Absorption machines) which is extremely efficient and eco-friendly since water is used as the refrigerant and LPG as the fuel . The server farm area has a Raised floor system for efficient distribution of cooling to the production servers .

Power

Abtinfo.net is designed and equipped with separate 11 KVA line from the grid backed by N +1 Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs). The Power unit has been built with well designed PDB for each and every electrical component. The Power equipments, contactors and switches used are as per the ISI standards. Cabling and earthing are done as per the IE rule. The Power system has

2 x 100% auto start standby generators of 250 KVA.
2 x 100% high reliability UPS systems of 80 KVA.
Optional rack level UPS.
Copper bus ducts to carry power
Fire proof wiring.

Within one minute of a commercial power failure, diesel generators smoothly pick up the load from the UPSs and keep our network and your servers functioning without interruption for the duration of the commercial power failure

Fire Detection and Suppression

Our fire detection and Fire alarm system are as per the standards of the Data centers. All the zones within the data center are fitted with sensitive optical and ionization detectors (below false flooring, false ceiling and above false ceiling). MIMIC panel and others alarm system’s are in place for easy identification of the spot on accident. Co2 gas suppression system is in place for extinguishing fires.
